New Jonas Leisure platform makes e-learning easy

The Jonas Leisure team behind the market leading leisure management system, Envibe, has built an e-learning platform to help users get trained up and onboarded quicker and easier than ever.

As with any great product, ensuring customers are using a solution to its full potential is going to forge a stronger, more positive user experience. Envibe, the hero leisure management software product created by Jonas Leisure, is no exception – with Envibe’s jam-packed feature suite, there’s a lot of powerful functionality to become a master at that helps you better your business.

A key problem leisure centres faced that the Jonas Leisure team identified was the amount of time, money and resources that were being invested in getting new employees onboarded in all aspects of the business. The team set out to solve this problem as much as they could by assisting in areas of onboarding process they could influence – training new starters in Envibe.

Their solution? A comprehensive online e-learning platform designed to help users get new starters trained up and refresh existing employees’ knowledge!

“We want to continually strive to improve our customers’ experience with Envibe,” said Alissa Lim, General Manager at Jonas Leisure. “Envibe is a powerful product with a lot of functionality designed to improve how leisure facilities run their businesses. We recognised that it would be beneficial for existing team members to have a resource where they could refresh their knowledge of Envibe, or learn something new. On the other hand, we saw a need to help our customers get new employees trained up and on-boarded quickly without using up too much of their time and resources. An e-learning platform was the ideal solution!”

A common problem the industry faces is staff turnover, particularly when long-standing staff with years of knowledge and experience leave the business – taking with them a wealth of knowledge. The e-learning platform is designed to aid self-learning within leisure centres and facilities, whilst maintaining consistency in learning across the business to ensure Envibe’s best practices are upheld to get the most out of the software.

Envibe’s e-learning platform features extensive learning resources in all the key areas of Envibe including Courses for program management, Triggers for automated communications, and Online for all the online modules and functionality they offer. Each feature category contains an overview of the topic, a comprehensive training videos for more thorough education, short how-to videos to learn quick tips and tricks in the software, manuals and FAQs.

“With all training resources available in one place and accessible remotely, our customers will have the freedom to involve and upskill a wider variety of staff in the transition to Envibe. This will set our customers up for success with increased product knowledge and ultimately increased confidence on Go Live day and beyond,” said Hannah Donohoe, Jonas Leisure’s Service’s Manager who lead the e-learning platform project.

While new Envibe customers are being onboarded, they will have access to and be systematically guided through all resources in the e-learning platform. From there, the platform has been built so new users can work their way through the modules in order from start to finish.

However, it’s been designed so it can also be easily navigated by knowledgeable users so they can browse to find the information they’re looking for. The platform’s search functionality also gives users the option to type in key words to bring up the most relevant resources so they can quickly find the answers they’re looking for.

“Due to the changes in the way we live and work post-pandemic, including the current staffing crisis, increased staff turnover, and now working and learning remotely, we believe our existing Envibe customers will see a lot of value in the e-learning platform. By design, we have created on-demand, readily available training materials to do some of the hard work of staff onboarding for you and ensure your new staff are learning Envibe’s best practices each and every time,” said Hannah.

“We’re excited to see how helpful the new e-learning platform is going to be for our existing Envibe customers, and new ones to come,” said Hannah.
