REA Scope of Works

Scope of Works provided by Jonas Leisure:

To assist the client with planning of the installation and identifying the mechanical, electrical and system requirements for the products.
To deliver/ship to site all ordered product items.
To bring the installed products into service via a remote connection.

Client Responsibilities

To provide mechanical installation of the product.
To provide electrical installation of the product.
To undertake all required floor preparation work, including layout, removal of any existing hardware, marking up, drilling for fixings, conduits etc.
To provide all required cables, ducts, conduits and containment for the electrical installation requirements.
To provide all cabling and electrical services as detailed below, as specified by Jonas Leisure:
Provision and connection of suitable mains power services, as specified by Jonas Leisure e.g. isolating switch – 230 Vac 13A spur.
Provision of a suitably located POE network point.
Provision of signal cable between REA Device and any 3rd party access control hardware to be controlled by the REA Device, as specified by Jonas Leisure.
Provision of network cabling, with an active connection to the network, as specified by Jonas Leisure
To provide a suitable input and technical expertise on the 3rd party product the REA controller is to interface with.
To terminate all cabling.
To provide an IP address in advance for the REA Device.
To provide remote access to the site network for remote configuration of the REA device.
To provide a suitably qualified engineer to attend site during commissioning.
To make good all floor, wall and ceiling finishes.
To provide suitable protection of Installed Product during installation works and following practical completion.
